The secondary chip reader is hardware that can be ordered in complement with the 7" attendance clock or the DA1 door opener.
You then customize what should happen when you clock in on the secondary reader. For example, a door might be unlocked and ClockIN is recorded (since you have the secondary reader on the outside of the entrance door). You can find more about the secondary reader setup options here.
The secondary reader has the dimensions of 44 x 97 x 17 mm, has an IP66 outdoor design and reads RFID 125 kHz or NFC 13.56 MHz chips, depending on the type ordered.

Users clock in using contactless RFID and NFC chips, QR codes or a PIN codes. When clocking in, the attendance clock may take a photo or save the GPS position.
The attendance clock offers extended functions such as Persons present at the workplace, work with the Shift Plan, Submitting requests, or viewing the attendance of others.
